Hi guys,

Can we just take a moment to appreciate all the good and big things happening for the natural hair movement!

To all my naturalistas out there I am sure you would have heard about the #ClicksCurls event happening on the 16th September!! I am excited and I am sure by now you are too. Isn’t it just the best thing to scroll around through the hair products aisle, reading the labels and checking the ingredients before finally picking out your fave products that does wonder to your hair??

Ahhh… bliss!

The event will be held at the Spier Wine Estate on Saturday the 16th hosted by Amanda du-Pont and Siv Ngesi plus there will be a guest appearance by Nomzamo Mbatha (L’Oreal Elvive Curl nourishment). There will be live demo’s, music, comedy  and so much more that guarantees a day of complete fun and socializing with a bunch of natural heads. I am honestly looking forward to it and I mean, come on, location is errrthang!! Can’t wait to look all cute and of course I will be sharing it with anyone who wont be there so be sure to check out my Instagram story that day!.

I have said it time and time again that natural head girls are so so easy to talk to because most of the conversation ends up being about hair, hair tips, coconut oil, growth, best ways to lay your edges, etc…. I mean, Im sure you know this already 🙂 There will be tons of products that we love such as:

……and so so much more!!

My favourite products will deffo have to be the TreSemme Botanique, Aunt Jackies and Twisted Sista to name a few. Let me know which are your fave products and what ones you are keen to try.

So I hope you all have your tickets ready and amped to join me and other naturalistas at the event. I would love to see you all there and hopefully meet you lovely people as well 🙂 🙂

  1. Hello Ladi Elle
My Fav products are stressed botaniques, shea moisture mask, cantu leave in conditioner, afro bontanics curl activating cream and a oil would have to be caivil. I use Aunty Jackies flaxseed gel as well lol My curly hair dramas has to be detangling and how to style it on special occasions without heat.
    Have a lovely day further❤?

  2. Hi Curl Friend

So I’ve been natural since December 2016, quite late to the naturalista movement but I am loving and embracing every step of my journey! Even the days where my hair won’t do what I want it to! I’m slowly learning what my hair loves. And if I were blessed enough to attend this event. I would style as I do every week.

    1. Shampoo with aunt jackies softening shampoo
    2. Deep condition with palmers coconut deep conditioner pack
    3. Style with aunt jackies leave in conditioner and curl la la curl custard and let air dry

I’ve also added aunt jackies co wash to my routine once a week and my hair is loving it.

I’ve got a long way to go on my journey, as its not just about getting my hair healthy but also being confident and comfortable in my most natural state. Being around women who have reaped the rewards of this amazing revolution will only encourage and inspire me to continue.

Please please consider me for the tickets. My curl sister and I would absolutely love to attend and be around other women who can teach us so much

I would really love to go to the event, my favourite natural hair products is the Afrobotanics range and i am a fan of coconut oil, if i were to go to the event i would style my hair the way i usually do most days, twisting it out and comb it out a little for some volume. #ClicksCurls #ClicksHairConvo
